We are looking for a strong Technical Lead/Sr. Java Developer to join our professional team working onsite in Baltimore, MD.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the VETS Java team.

• Must have experience with web development technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Spring, Spring MVC, Servlets/JSP,
• Knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and MS Access is a plus
• Experience with advanced system design/development techniques; design patterns, unit testing
• Practical understanding of SDLC and related tools (requirements management, version
• Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology
• Knowledge and control/configuration management, build/release management, testing/defect tracking).
• Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle databases
• Must be able to focus on requirements & design phases, development, testing, and issue escalation.
• Self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Should have a passion to solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

At least Five years of software industry experience:

• Advanced knowledge of Java programming language (data structures, Generics, Design by contract etc.), SQL, JEE, JPA/Hibernate, XML/XSL, Web Services, stored procedures
• Enterprise/Application Architecture, Application Framework development, SCRUM, Application and Portal Server design/development, ILOG JRules, jBPM, JBoss SEAM Framework, BEA WebLogic 9, WSAD, UNIX/Sun Solaris, RUP, Rational Rose, UML, Java, Struts, AJAX, Hibernate, Spring Framework, EJB, XML, Windows 95/NT, C++, C, CORBA, MQ-Series, Multi-Threading /Processing, Visual C++, Borland
